Tapping before the flash is a false start. After each round you see your reaction time; at the
end you get a median, best, 90th-percentile, and a grade.
The three modes
Quick Test — five rounds for a fast read on your reaction time.
Endurance — twenty rounds back to back; staying consistent is the point, so the 90th-percentile time is the score that matters.
Anticipation — no countdown or instructions; watch the dial and tap the instant it flips green.

Rest a finger lightly over the screen so only your reaction — not your reach — is measured.
Use Endurance to find your honest, repeatable number rather than a lucky single tap.
Adjust the pre-cue wait range and rounds in Settings.
