Which iPhones can scan with LiDAR?

LiDAR scanning works on iPhone Pro and Pro Max models (iPhone 12 Pro and later). On any other iPhone, use “Enter dimensions” to type the rock's length, width and height — everything else works the same.

How accurate is the weight?

It's an estimate. The biggest unknowns are the rock's buried base and its true density, so BoulderLift always shows a low–high range and drives the lift verdict off the heavy end. Treat the number as a planning estimate, never a certified weight.

What capacity do I enter for my machine?

Use the manufacturer's rated number for your setup: the Rated Operating Capacity for loaders, or the load-chart value at your working radius and height for excavators and telehandlers. It already includes the standard margin — don't discount it again.

Is the verdict a guarantee it's safe to lift?

No. BoulderLift is a planning aid, not a certified safety device. Always confirm against your machine's load chart and follow OSHA and your site's safety procedures before lifting.
